Campus Ambassador (UNR)
Posted April 27, 2026
Location: Reno, NV (University of Nevada, Reno)
Hours: 8–10 hrs/week
Pay: Discussed during interview
Type: Part-time Internship
Be the person who brings StarLovin to your campus.
StarLovin is an AI startup building the all-in-one platform for content creators: scheduling, cross-posting, AI editing, brand deals, auto DMs, storefront, and more. All free. We believe the creator economy is broken by fragmented, expensive tools that treat creators like cash cows. We're fixing that.
We're looking for someone at UNR to be our first-ever campus ambassador. Not someone who just hands out flyers, but someone who genuinely connects with creators, finds the communities that matter, and gets people excited about what we're building.
If you're the kind of person who knows every club, talks to everyone, and is always plugging people into things they should know about, this might be your thing.
What You'd Actually Do
- Find and connect with student creators on campus. Talk to them, learn what tools they use, what's broken, what they wish existed. Then introduce them to StarLovin.
- Tap into campus communities: creator clubs, film clubs, marketing orgs, entrepreneurship groups, or anywhere creators hang out.
- Set up tabling sessions and hand out merch/stickers. Be a presence on campus.
- Do direct outreach to creators you discover through campus events, social media, or word of mouth.
- Report back on what you're hearing. You're our eyes and ears on the ground. The feedback you gather from real creators directly influences what we build next.
You Might Be a Great Fit If You...
- Are active on campus. You're involved in student life — whether through clubs, classes, events, or just being someone who talks to a lot of people.
- Are a creator yourself, or interested in the creator space. You don't have to be a full-time content creator, but you get what it means to make and share things online.
- Are comfortable talking to strangers. Cold outreach doesn't scare you. You can walk up to someone at an event and start a genuine conversation.
- Are self-directed. We'll work on strategy together, but you'll be the one executing on the ground. You don't need someone checking in every day to stay on track.
- Are genuinely curious about the creator economy. You think about how people build audiences, monetize content, and navigate platforms.
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Experience with campus organizations, event planning, or student government
- Your own social media presence (any size)
Why This Role is Different
- You're not just handing out promo codes. You'll help shape how StarLovin goes to market on college campuses. The playbook you write at UNR becomes the blueprint for every campus after this.
- You're joining an AI startup on the ground floor. The feedback you bring back from real creators doesn't go into a suggestion box. It goes directly to the team building the product.
- You'll work directly with the founder. Direct line of communication, no layers in between. You'll see how an early-stage startup actually operates.
- The product is free, so the pitch is easy. You're not asking people to buy anything. You're showing creators something they'd actually use, at no cost.
Still not sure if you qualify? If you're excited about this and willing to try things, you probably already do. Apply anyway.
