Yes. Meta requires Instagram automation tools to use Business or Creator accounts. If you currently have a personal account, you can switch in Instagram settings.

Yes. Facebook Auto DM works with Facebook Pages that you manage. You’ll need the right Page permissions when connecting through Meta.

StarLovin supports connecting Instagram through Instagram login for eligible Business or Creator accounts.

Log in with Facebook, authorize StarLovin through Meta’s official flow, and choose the Page you want to connect. Each connected Page can be managed from your StarLovin workspace.

On Instagram, StarLovin can trigger automations from post and Reel comments, Story replies, Story mentions, Instagram Live comments, and incoming DMs. On Facebook, StarLovin supports Auto DM triggers from Page post or Reel comments and incoming DMs. You can use keywords like “LINK,” match any message, target specific content, or set automations for supported future posts.

A follower gate asks someone to follow you before receiving the final link or message. After they tap “I followed,” StarLovin checks follower status through Meta’s Instagram User Profile API. If they are not following yet, you can choose whether to ask again, hold back the final message, or send it anyway.

You can ask for an email inside the DM before sending a link, guide, discount, waitlist invite, or freebie. StarLovin checks whether the reply looks like an email, retries if needed, and saves the lead to Contacts. You can export your contacts at any time — your audience data is always yours.
