Facebook Integration Guide

Overview

Connecting your Facebook Page to StarLovin lets you schedule and publish posts and Reels, and use auto-repost to repurpose content from other platforms. You can customize captions, attach links, and add auto-comments for each post.

Connecting Your Facebook Page

  1. Click your avatar at the bottom of the sidebar and select Channels.
  2. Click New Channel to open the platform selection.
  3. Select Facebook.
  4. You'll be redirected to Facebook's authorization page. Sign in and approve the requested permissions.
  5. After authorizing, a dialog will appear listing your Facebook Pages. Select the Page(s) you want to connect.
  6. Click Connect and your Page(s) will appear in the channels list with an active status.

You can connect multiple Facebook Pages at once. Each Page appears as a separate channel.

What You Can Do

Schedule Posts

Create and schedule Facebook posts and Reels to publish at specific times. When composing a post, Facebook-specific settings include:

  • Caption — Write your post text.
  • Link URL — Attach a link to your post (available for regular posts, not Reels).
  • First Comment — Automatically post a comment right after publishing.

Auto-Repost

Facebook can be used as both a source and a destination for auto-repost workflows:

  • As a source — Pull your existing Facebook Reels and repost them to other platforms.
  • As a destination — Automatically repost content from Instagram, TikTok, or another Facebook Page as Reels.

Disconnecting Your Facebook Page

  1. Go to Channels from the avatar menu.
  2. Click Remove next to the Facebook Page.
  3. Confirm in the dialog.

Important: Removing a channel deletes all associated data in StarLovin, including scheduled posts and repost history. This cannot be undone. Your Facebook Page and its content are not affected.

You can reconnect at any time by adding the channel again.

Permissions

When you connect Facebook, you're asked to allow StarLovin to:

  • View the list of Pages you manage.
  • Read and create posts on your Pages.
  • Manage engagement (comments) on your Page posts.

StarLovin only accesses the Pages you explicitly select during setup. We do not access your personal Facebook profile, messages, or friend list.

Troubleshooting

My channel shows as inactive Your Facebook authorization may have expired. Click Refresh next to the channel to re-authorize.

My scheduled post failed to publish Check that your channel is still active and that the content meets Facebook's requirements. Failed posts show an error message when you hover over the status.

I don't see my Page during setup Make sure you have admin access to the Page. Only Pages you manage will appear in the selection dialog. If you recently created the Page, try disconnecting and reconnecting.

I want to add more Pages from the same account Click New Channel, select Facebook, and sign in with the same account. Any Pages not yet connected will be available for selection.
